As a luxury RV park in Weatherford, Oklahoma, Wanderlust Crossings has had the privilege of hosting different groups, families, and organizations. Recently, we had the opportunity to host the Tin Can Tourists 2019 Vintage Trailer Rally. The event was special this year because it commemorated 100 years of operation.
The organization began in 1919. The Tin Can Tourists were founded as a means to “unite fraternally all autocampers.” Today, members share a love of vintage trailers with each other and the public at different rallies.
During the rally, the Tin Can Tourists hosted a free open house to visitors at our RV park, allowing the public to explore the different campers and appreciate the unique style that they offer. Everyone who attended this special event enjoyed the chance to socialize and learn more about their passion.
